Privacy Policy

PizzaBite (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides a phone-order concierge that helps customers place orders with participating restaurants (including Papa Johns and Pizza Hut) at standard menu prices. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

  • Contact details you provide: name, phone number, ZIP code, delivery address (when you share it), and any order notes.

  • Order details: selected items, sizes, preferences, special instructions.

  • Call metadata: date/time, duration, agent notes; we may record calls for quality and training (where allowed by law). We will tell you at the start of the call if recording is on.

  • Website data: IP address, device/browser, pages viewed, referring URLs, and cookies or similar technologies (only to operate and improve the site).

  • Communications: texts or emails you send us.

How We Use Information

  • To place your order with the restaurant you choose and coordinate delivery.

  • To provide customer support, improve our service, and prevent fraud or misuse.

  • To communicate with you about your order, availability, or feedback.

  • To maintain security, compliance, and record-keeping.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share only as needed to run PizzaBite:

  • With the restaurant (and its delivery provider) to fulfill your order.

  • With service providers (e.g., call system, website hosting, analytics) under contracts that limit how they use your data.

  • If required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer (e.g., merger).

Payment

PizzaBite does not process payments on our website. You pay the participating store according to its policy (e.g., cash or card with the driver, or card by phone). We do not store full payment card numbers.

Data Retention

We keep records only as long as needed for operations, legal, and security purposes, then delete or de-identify them.

Your Choices

  • You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting us (see “Contact Us”).

  • You may opt out of call recording by notifying the agent; we will continue the call unrecorded if legally permitted.

  • You can control cookies via your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.

Children’s Privacy

PizzaBite is for users 13+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

State-Specific Rights (e.g., CA/VA/CO/CT/UT)

Residents of certain US states may have additional rights to access, delete, correct, or limit the use of personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us (see below). We do not sell personal information as defined by applicable state laws.
